SJMS Counseling Center Mission Statement

At South Jordan Middle School, the Counseling Center is an integral part of every student's educational experience and is designed to help all students become lifelong learners, effective communicators, critical thinkers, team players and responsible citizens by helping each student:

  • Learn to function in a middle school environment
  • Explore career options and opportunities
  • Gain knowledge and feel good about himself/herself and others
  • Develop a Student Educational Occupational Plan
